Fear in the Body

Confront sin in your life and others.

What’s to fear? Why the hesitation? Why the false front?

We have countless friends who we’ve delegated the accountability task to, but there is still silence.

The Bible talks about the importance of purity, holiness and keeping one another accountable, not tolerable. We are to please God not people. Let us be self-aware and let us not cover our eyes and smile at those who need the truth.

Once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord so live as people of light. For this light within you only produces what is good and right and true. Ephesians 5:8

Light reveals it all but we rather dim the light or turn it off completely to not hurt others, or make them [or yourself] feel uncomfortable. We feel that telling the truth will add to the overwhelming heart when in fact they need to be freed. You need to be freed.

Maybe we feel out of place to correct our neighbor when we ourselves are struggling with the same sin. Well shoot speak out! Vulnerability is beautiful and God works through confession and relationships. Invite Him in and let Him heal and correct. Don’t hold back, God loves to use our weaknesses for His glory and does it in inexplicable ways!

Confrontation does not mean judgement, or burning the person alive because of their sin. It also doesn’t mean easy or pleasing to the flesh. Don’t feel bad, especially when God puts it in your heart and mind to tell your brother or sister to confront sin. God speaks and we cannot act deaf. God disciplines for redemption and correction. There is always hope and encouragement!

Psalm 141:4-5 Don’t let me drift to evil or take part in acts of wickedness. Don’t let me share in the delicacies of those who do wrong. Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it.

Don’t refuse it, don’t keep quiet.

Just wait.

Resting has been a day to day challenge.

I’ve had to turn to creativity to amuse myself.

Home is becoming routine.

This is what i’ve been feeling like these past months and all three statements i wrote out made me worry. I need to do something about it…or not. Waiting is not my thing…
